Implants Passivation and Pre-packaging

All-stainless-steel passivation system for implantable orthopedic devices delivers ultra-high-purity throughout the process, rinsing, and drying stages. It is available for nitric acid passivation, or ultrasonic/detergent cleaning, with filtered recirculation and heating, as process requires. Interlab’s proprietary recirculating rinse allows a high rate of flow in the final critical rinse position, while conserving all final-rinse water, and preventing microbial growth in the rinse system.

Interlab also manufactures solvent-compatible and flammable-solvent-compatible equipment with a full array of safety and control features.

Sophisticated fully automated versions not only save on labor and eliminate operator error; they guarantee repeatability of the results. Parameter monitoring allows operator or electronic verification via internal data storage or uplink to facility process monitoring.
