Optics Etching Bench

Although most of our etching applications are for the semiconductor industry, Interlab also provides corrosive-compatible (i.e. caustic or acid) benches for applications in the optical, and many other industries. Etching processes may be used in stripping of coatings for rework optics, or can apply surface textures and features such as waveguides (as the all-plastic manual system shown above was designed to perform). Square profile and cleanroom-compatible sloped-profile fume hoods are available, as are any number of rinsing, drying, and processing options. General “utility benches” for corrosives and solvents are also available.
